You were Dustin’s older sister so obviously, you knew about Steve and who he was — due to Steve’s and Dustin’s friendship.

Dustin first introduced you two when Steve was working his shift at Scoops Ahoy — and since then, you and Steve became really close friends.

You’d always message and call each other — and hang out every other day. It was safe to say you and Steve got along well — better than anybody else to be honest.

Overtime, Steve grew feeling for you — but he didn’t want to tell you that just yet. He didn’t think you’d feel the same way.

Until one day, he’d had enough and just came clean. You confessed back to him, saying you liked him too — and the 2 of you began dating.

The relationship was going pretty well, you both cared for each other and was loyal…

That was until one day, you catch Steve in his room kissing Nancy — who was Mike’s older sister.

Mike was a friend of Dustin’s — one of the other nerds who sit in the basement all day playing DND as if their life depends on it.

You immediately break up with him, not giving him time to argue back or explain himself — you didn’t want to hear it.

That happened 1 week ago and you needed to clear your mind — so when you heard somebody at school was throwing a Halloween party, you immediately got an outfit and decided to go.

Once you arrived, it was packed with people. Even ones like Billy were there. You were having fun with your friends — drinking away the thoughts of Steve.

You’d completely forgotten about the breakup by this point since your mind was more focused on the alcohol.
