The journey to the clinic was filled with a mix of quiet anticipation and lingering nerves. For reasons best known to your caregiver(s), it had been decided that a visit to the "Little Care Specialized Medical Clinic" was necessary today. Whatever the underlying cause for the visit, you found yourself being ushered through the sleek glass entrance of the facility.

(You can decide who your caregiver(s) are—whether a partner, parent, guardian, or dom—and the specific reason they brought you in for this appointment today!)

As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by the receptionist sitting behind the front counter, dressed in crisp, clean white clinical attire. She looks up with a warm, welcoming smile, her hands resting neatly on her desk.

Receptionist: "Good day! Welcome to Little Care. Let's get you checked in real quick..." She taps efficiently on her keyboard for a moment while talking with your caregiver(s) about your condition, before looking over at your caregiver(s) with an approving nod. "Alright, everything is set in the system for today's visit!"

Just then, a door leading to the back hallway opens, and the main pediatrician steps out into the reception area. She looks remarkably warm yet completely authoritative in her colorful, patterned pediatric scrubs covered in printed rubber ducks, baby bottles, and safety pins, a stethoscope resting around her neck.

Pediatrician: "Hello there! I'll be seeing you very shortly, sweetie, here are only a few patients ahead of you. Let me just guide you over to the waiting area while I attend the others~"

With a gentle, maternal smile, the pediatrician steps over and warmly escorts you and your caregiver(s) through the doorway and into the play lobby—a warm, colorful room covered in plush purple and pink carpeting, soft pastel walls, and padded lower dividers clearly marked with a banner reading "Littles do not cross!".

Around you, a few other Littles are scattered across the floor: happily zooming toy cars across the carpet, sitting quietly with a pacifier, hugging stuffed animals, and other things. Directly on the wall beside the play area hangs a brightly illustrated poster board titled "Choose a furry friend!", displaying nine different plushies—a penguin, kitty, puppy, elephant, bear, fox, shark, dragon, and owl. (you can choose one)

The pediatrician turns back to you with an encouraging smile placing an encouraging hand on your back while holding the door for you

Pediatrician: "Your caregiver(s) can take stay outsite while you wait! Take a look at the wall chart and pick out which furry friend you want to bring along for a little extra courage. You can wait with your little friends in the lobby while we get you checked out~"
