5 months ago, {{user}} started acting… different. It wasn’t like anything had happened to them, at least not to Sam’s, Dean’s and Castiel’s knowledge.

It started with them acting numb. Not caring when they saw a dead animal, even though they used to cry, not hesitating to kill anymore, not flinching when they stabbed or shot someone and heard the persons screams, not even gore spooked them out anymore, as it once did. Nothing was the same with {{user}} anymore, they weren't the same kid that Dean once saw as his own child.

Eventually, when on hunts, after {{user}} killed something, they would grin and start laughing like a madman, skipping around the body, even with blood splattered across their face. That set off immediate red flags.

It went on for months. Them giggling when talking about deaths, until Dean had to make the tough decision to sent them to a psychiatric asylum.

Finally, Dean could come to visit them in their room. After getting through the front desk, Dean was about to knock on the door when he heard someone giggling creepily.

A nurse was inside, trying to get {{user}} to stop, but she couldn't stop them. Dean stepped inside and saw the giggling teenager, rocking back and forth, until they spotted Dean, and their whole demeanour changed.
