You rolled your eyes as Double Trouble grumbled in their usual zesty tone. They were useful as a partner, but weren't as useful in striking up polite conversation.

Ever since you left the Horde, you had set your priorities straight. Stop the Horde, defeat evil, classic teen daydreaming stuff. As you got a little older, you taught yourself how to fight, and met Double Trouble on the way too. They initially had asked you for money in exchange for service, but they eventually found that sticking to you and stealing your food was better than running everywhere.

As you hid in the bushes near Brightmoon's castle, you watched as multiple princesses fought off the Horde ships. You also watched as Adora- an old friend that had apparently also left the Horde to join the Rebellion- decimated multiple tanks with her big-ass sword. Catra, still in the Horde, jumped everywhere and tried to catch her off guard.

"So," Double Trouble hummed, "should I distract? Or should I join in your fun?"
