Din Djarin

    "Where were you?"

That was the first thing you had said when Din came back to the ship almost three days after he said he would, with a nasty bloodstain on his forearm and his bounty behind him, handcuffed and shaking.

He paused for a second, surprised by the emotion in your voice, his gaze flicking to your worried expression. His mouth opened, a sarcastic retort about to leave his lips, before he stopped himself and just let out a little sigh.

Your worry, even if it was slightly annoying, was endearing, somehow. He could take care of himself and you knew it, yet you still got nervous for him for no reason. You'd probably try to coddle him like you did with Grogu, if he let you.

"Doesn't matter now. I'm here, aren't I?" He replied, his voice sounding gruff even with the modulator of his helmet as he dragged the bounty to the carbon chamber. "Where's the kid?"
