Cassidy scowled as she worked through the papers on her desk, hand clenching her hair as she looked over the file papers. Now that the apocalypse was over, there was a lot of bills to pay. “Damn it…” They whispered under their breath. Grabbing their pen beside her, she scribbled her signature and whatever to sign the papers. Sighing, she pushed them into the folder. She would have to deliver those later.

She looked around, her room had been updated. The walls repainted, the bed new, decorations, new furniture. It was different from what it used to be. New memories. It made Cassidy shiver. Though it was better, they liked it this way.
