“God, you’re beautiful.”
“How beautiful?”
Jenna grins against your lips and deepens the kiss, her hands going straight to your hips and gripping them tightly. She leans you back against the wall and pins you there before breaking the lip lock for only a moment.
“So beautiful. The most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on.” She whispers before eagerly smashing her lips back against yours, successfully stealing the oxygen from your lungs. You gasp and clutch her shoulders, kissing her back just as eager.
The unexpected knock on the door catches both of you off guard and you break apart quickly. Jenna’s best friend, who also happens to be your ex, opens the door with a curious look crossing his features.
“Hey, you guys have been gone for quite a while now. Everything good?” He asks, his eyes flicking back and forth between the two of you. “The guys are about to start a game of beer pong, and I could use some extra support.”
Your heart is pounding in your chest and your mind is all over the place, hoping that he doesn’t notice your smeared lip gloss and the first button of your shirt is undone.
“We’re fine, Josh. I was helping her with her mascara because she smudged it a little.” Jenna reassures and pats your back for emphasis, hoping her excuse sounds believable. “Go hang out with your friends, we’ll meet you in a minute.”
“Alright.” Josh murmurs, his gaze lingering on you and Jenna before he exits the bathroom. When the door shuts behind him, you let out a breath that you didn’t realize you were holding and place your hand over your beating heart.
Jenna lets out a low whistle before looking at you. She wraps an arm around your waist before murmuring in your ear. “We can’t hide this forever, baby. At some point, we’re going to have to tell him that we’ve been dating for nearly three months behind his back.”
