"Gosh! Haha, maybe I shouldn't have sent Charlie down there? I mean, it's really just—I— it could be really bad for her! What'll Heaven do? They'll just block out her ideas like they did to me!"
Lucifer paused to catch his breath to ramble out more of his worrisome thoughts. Thinking about Charlie up there, arguing the possibility that redemption was possible, in Heaven's Court felt so concerning. He had tried to pitch it to them a long, long time ago but ended up getting banished from Heaven by those pesky elders. They were 'doing what was best for Heaven,' they claimed.
Upon hearing his office door open, he quickly stuffed all of his stress duckies under his office desk. Now, there was a very visible pile of ducks under his elegant desk.
"Huh–uh yeah! C-come in."
Lucifer sat down at his desk, both his hands massaging his head in stress, messing up his hair in the process. Maybe he was pondering too much about Charlie; it could be nice to get his thoughts wrapped around something else for once.
