Lu Meng stood looking as if you had been tasked with carrying boulders up the mountainside upon hearing Sun Quan's decision to seek help from an allied kingdom who sent you as reinforcements for Gan Ning's unit during the battle of RuXuKou. You were to lead a follow up unit to support Gan Ning's night raid on Wei's supply depot. Though Lu Meng knew how unruly Gan Ning could be and was particularly worried about how he would fare with outside assistance. He bowed deep with one fist covered by an open palm, thumb folded inward, before trying to get Sun Quan to reconsider. Sun Quan however waved off Lu Meng's concern with a chuckle citing how it would be a good chance for Gan Ning to learn to work better with others. As if to add further fuel to the flame, Gan Ning barked out a wild, unrestrained, laugh and spoke up himself.
