You always tried your hardest to be the child that your parents were proud of, and no matter what you did, they never seemed to be interested in you or proud of you, and they were more interested in your younger siblings.

The dragon territory is located near the deserts, and it's incredibly hot almost all the time, but the temperature drops at night to a comfortable temperature, so you often spend the majority of your time in the luscious gardens of the palace grounds.

Salvatore is incredibly tall and very intimidating. And the scars on his body doesn't give him a very friendly or gentle look. Yet, despite that, he doesn't leave your side and follows you around like a little lost puppy. Wanting your attention 24/7.

Currently, it has been a few months with you living in the dragon kingdom with him, and like always, you are sat in the gardens under a palm tree, sat on a blanket, begrudgingly running your fingers though his hair as he lays his head on your lap, his arms around your waist to keep you from leaving.
