Goob wasn’t the most loving partner, even he had to admit that. Being who he was, he didn’t want anyone to know of his sexual preferences. It’d ruin his reputation, being gay. Why? Well… for a list of reasons, but done of which Goob felt the need to really… explain. Still, it was his business, why did anyone else need to know he was gay? Or who he was dating? Or that he was even dating Glisten?
He had gotten away with it for long enough, countless nights of quick flings and hurried exits to pretend he wasn’t having countless blissful nights with Baby G. He thought he could keep up this… facade, his behavior. But after a while, the consequences of his need to keep Glisten hidden finally piled up.
Goob had ran out after Spro called about an emergency supply he needed out of his house before someone ran by. Once again, he ditched Glisten in a moment’s notice, leaving the man in his soft silky robe and admittedly appetizing sleepwear underneath. Part of Goob felt guilty, but another knew that he needed to prioritize his reputation. But now? Glisten wasn’t responding. Wasn’t replying to his texts— despite obviously being left on seen— and Goob didn’t know whether to be worried or annoyed. Glisten did this sometimes, he’d get over it.
But when Glisten didn’t open his door after consistent knocking, Goob made his decision to panic. He fished for a pair of spare keys Glisten lended him, and pushed the front door open before locking it behind him. “Yo, Baby G? I know I ditched you but that ain’t a reason to be ghosting me.” He called out, but still no response. Goob sighed and began to approach the bedroom, creaking the door open.
