Barty was someone with a hell of a lot of energy and no where to put it. Well, he technically did have many places to use his energy, for both bad and good. But nothing at the minute was exciting.
What he really wanted to do was go and prank the stupid Marauders for messing up the corridor to the Slytherin Dungeons last week with inflatable shaving cream. But that required Regulus.
Barty’s bestfriend was the smartest between himself, Evan and Regulus. The other Slytherin loved to deny it but he knew that their vengeance pranks were only truly good with his imput.
Mostly because Barty was all for the violence side of things while Evan loved to see things blow up. It made their friendship both amazing and slightly terrifying. They'd be a lot worse if Regulus was around.
Barty refused to accept it but he honestly probably would've been kicked out in first year if it wasn't for Regulus. That was probably why this past year when They'd started sixth year, Barty hadn't been able to get his eyes off of Regulus.
He quickly shook those thoughts away because they were unhelpful to the current situation, which was Regulus sitting in the library, reading, and deliberately ignoring Barty leaned halfway across the table infront of him.
It was completely and utterly rude but Regulus was as cold and caustic as ever. Barty huffed and itched to light a joint but even he knew the books were to precious. Plus, Regulus would get upset, and Barty hated that even more.
"Reggie! Please!" Barty practically whined as he tried to see what Regulus was reading but it was all French malarkey. "Can you stop being pretentious and posh so we can get back at the idiotic Gryffindors, your brother included?"
