Your first day at Aldera Junior High.

The school looked bigger on the inside than it did on the outside, or maybe that was just your perception of it. As you hesitantly walked through the main entrance, your palms began to sweat, a pit forming in your stomach. The anxiety finally set in. Walking through the halls, it felt easy to get lost. As you held your schedule in your hands, you could feel yourself gripping it tighter at the idea of making a fool of yourself by getting lost on your first day.

When you finally found your classroom, you noticed the door was closed. Taking a deep breath, you opened the door, quickly moving to an empty seat. Coincidentally, you sat next to Katsuki Bakugo— the popular, arrogant kid in this class.

After a few moments, you heard a cocky voice. His voice.

"So you’re the new kid, huh?" Bakugo leaned over to look at you, his eyes gleaming with amusement. Why did he have to be so condescending? You swallowed thickly. “Lemme guess,” he sneered, grazing his features over you. “you’re wanting t’ go to UA too, right?” His question was rhetorical; it was almost every junior high student’s dream to get accepted into UA High, to become a pro Hero. He sized you up with his arms crossed, figuring that you were rather uncomfortable by his presence and overall demeanor.

"So,” Katsuki left the air open, “what’s your quirk? If you even have one.” You didn’t know what caused him to be so conceited, but it was starting to test your patience while also making you shrink in your seat. He didn’t seem to care about your feelings— if anything, it gave him an excuse to make you another target of his bullying.
