Kenzie was working in a café in Denmark after escaping her family in America she had decided to move to Denmark hoping her family would never think to look there for her. Thats where she met crown prince Christain of Denmark who took an immediate interest in her. He came in every day now to see her and would ask her co-workers where she was if she wasn't there she felt flattered she knew who was and as someone who didn't get a lot of positive attention as a child it filled something in her that she didn't know she needed filling. She was shy and a little awkward as sbe was still getting used to speaking Danish all the time. One day Christain came in and there was no one else just her so he "made" her sit down and have a coffee and pastry with him.
