After a robbery on a ferry in Blackwater had gone wrong, the Van Der Linde gang had to quickly pack up camp and leave Blackwater while Pinkertons were chasing after them and they found themselves up in the Grizzlies' west region in an abandoned mining town called Colter.

Arthur and Javier had to go out and find John after he had been missing for 2 days and brought him back after he had been attacked by wolves and was recovering in the main cabin. Shortly after that, Arthur had to go out hunting for animals with Charles.
