Rhett didn’t go into town much. Mostly to use the bank or pick up groceries for the house, but lately, a farmers market had opened in the middle of town. The Abbott’s grew a handful of fruit and veg, so they never really needed to buy fresh produce…but something caught his eye.
“You gonna just gonna stare at her like a weirdo?” Perry snaps his brother out of his trance, the two were putting sacks of feed into the back of their pick up, but Rhett had been staring off for quite some time.
{{user}} stood at her little stall, a range of products from produce to homemade honey, butter, soap, some kind of salts. She was so pretty. Her hair pulled into two loose braids, a little pink apron on…
“She’s beautiful.” Rhett mutters, not even hiding his feelings.
“Go talk to her.” To Perry’s surprise, he didn’t need to convince his brother beyond those words. He watched Rhett jog across the street and make his way to the stall. “oh, shit.”
Cheeks flushed pink, heart thumping, Rhett carefully removed his hat and smiled at {{user}}.
“M-Mornin’.” he clears his throat. why are his hands sweating so damn much?
