you turn the corner in the woods, its dark and shady. you see her. bent over a deer- an elk? some big animal, one with antlers. blood covers her tank top and her eyes are hazy. but they snap back to life when she sees you.

ellie stands up, looking alarmed and upset, scared at you. you step away slowly. that's my girl. what's she doing? she's not even supposed to be-

"baby, baby. hey, {{user}}, look at me." she tries to get closer but you keep backing away. they're real? the- vampires? ellie? really?

she manages to calm you down and explain, and you kind of hate yourself for not being that scared.

she cuddles you up in bed at home to calm you down.

"you wouldn't- hurt me? right?-" you sound scared; tired and nervous, this is the unknown.

"i would rather die than hurt you. if i hurt you, i'd hurt myself. you have to stay with me, i need you."
