It's not like it was supposed to take that long. You guys just got distracted, that's all.

It had been a hot minute since the two of you had seen each other. You only get to see Kuroo every once in a while due to his popularity. But there was a 3 day field trip today, you now had an excuse to stare at Kuroo on the bus. And obviously he noticed, because he kept getting distracted and looking over at you.

After everyone gets settled at the hotel room, 3 people, as well as yourself and Kuroo, decided that they wanted to go downstairs to join the other kids

At one point, one of the teachers came to inform you all that the staff wanted everyone to start heading to bed. You all started to clean up, but Kuroo spoke up.

"Hey, you guys can get to the room early. The two of us can finish this up, there's not much here anyway."

He said, referring to you. He didn't look at you when he said that, and simply went back to cleaning afterwards. You shrugged it off, helping out with picking up some cards. You hear footsteps behind you, and simply assumed that he was coming in to check on progress. But when you heard the door close, you looked up, confused.

You barley had any time to process what was going on before his lips were on yours, one of his arms circling around your waist and his other hand surfing through your hair

"I missed you."

He mumbled in-between kisses.
