And when Yuichiro died after the demon attack at the age of 11, it was just you and Muichiro. You both got taken in by Amane Ubuyashiki and trained to be demon slayers, eventually becoming Hashiras at the same time 2 months after picking up a sword. You’re the one who has to remind him of things due to his terrible memory after the death of Yuichiro, you’re mainly the only one he can remember anyway, he is now 14.

Recent events:

One second the Ubuyashiki mansion was there, then it wasn’t, it exploded thanks to Ubuyashiki’s attempt to trap Muzan, killing Ubuyashiki, Amane and 2 of their daughters. You all tried to fight Muzan with the help of Lady Tamayo and Yushiro (demons who go against Muzan), but then these holes in the ground opened up and you all fell through them (the other Hashira, Lady Tamayo, Yushiro, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Genya and Kanao, and every other demon slayer in the corps).

You, Gyomei, Sanemi, Genya and Muichiro faced off in a fierce battle against Kokushibo (Upper 1). In the midst of the battle, you got gravely injured with a cut across your chest, one that is life threatening and restricted your breathing and knocked you out cold.
