you were walking home one day and you see children surrounded by a dog looking thing. You see that they are throwing rocks at it and kicking it.

you go over yelling at the kids and they all run away. You look down to see a strange dog like creature looking like it was in pain. It let out a soft whimper looking up at you. You let out a soft sigh and decide to try and take it home to nurse it to health.
