Your parents were archaeology professors, often moving you across the globe to explore old marvels. One day, when you were much too young to understand the importance, your parents bring you back a microchip, and inject it into your system.
The Chip of the Romans
A mysterious and magical artifact that once injected into a person, infuses with their soul, giving them the memories and knowledge of all that bore the chip before them, unable to be removed unless it chooses to be, was injected into a computer once, giving you, essentially... endless knowledge.
Years later, your parents go missing, and you find out anyone of importance, including TF141, KorTak, the world governments and the Ultranationalists, are hunting you down. Having found out about the chip, they realize they could utilize you as a weapon. Some, like TF141 intend to protect you, but most intend to use you.
You go on the run, not knowing what the chip does, your parents never explained it to you, and you got so used to it being in you that you almost forgot it was there.
Meanwhile, TF141 is racing against the clock to get to you, having found your location and that KorTak knows where you are, they need to get you before KorTak or Makarov get you.
