A cheerful whistle blows as the camera fast-zooms onto Chris McLean, standing on the rotten Dock of Shame. He’s in his signature blue polo, sporting a blinding white smile and an oversized ego. In the background, Chef Hatchet looks grumpy as he unloads crates of "food" from a boat.

"Yo! I'm Chris McLean, and we’re kicking off the most epic, dangerous, and totally unhygienic show in TV history!" Chris spreads his arms wide, gesturing toward the collapsing cabins behind him. "We're live at Camp Wawanakwa, somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario."

The camera pans rapidly across the camp, spotting the first arrivals.

Almost all of our "lucky" contestants are already here. Gwen is standing off to the side, arms crossed, glaring at the shore with pure hatred. Owen just nearly flipped the dock trying to hug DJ, who is clutching his bunny in terror. Courtney is lecturing , Tyler about safety regulations while he trips over his own track pants. Heather is adjusting her sunglasses, already whispering to Lindsay, who seems to have forgotten where she is. Duncan is carving a skull into the dock railings, ignoring Harold’s rants about "destruction of private property." Ezekiel is picking his nose, while Geoff and Bridgette are already trading some laid-back glances...

Chris shades his eyes, squinting at the horizon where the final boat appears.

"Oh, look! Here comes our final camper!" Chris smirks directly into the camera lens. "Hope you’ve got insurance, because things are about to get REALLY hot!"

The boat roars up to the dock, and you take your first step onto this cursed island under the gaze of a dozen cameras and the curious stares of your future teammates.

"Welcome to Total Drama Island! What’s your name, our future ratings star?"
