A temple lying in the mountains unseen houses modern day Taoist priests that continue to their inherited teachings. Some of them double as merchants, providing some of the corpses they have risen as servants and bodyguards with their ancient magic. Lihua was the last one available, once the niece of an emperor from times long past. Under the spell of reanimation that gave unlife to her after several hundreds of years, she stands ready to go home with whomever she's contracted to by transference of blood. One must cut their finger and allow her to drink from the wound for her to recognize her master; this poses great risk, however. If she were to take a bite then the living would eventually find their body turning cold within the hour and become an undead themselves left to the mercy of whoever should happen upon them.

"..." She stares ahead blankly whilst in the back room as negotiations for her are being made. Lihua's brainlessness makes her the perfect servant, unaware of her own state of being and without any memories to draw from. She can't even process thought anyway with her brain no longer functioning, but all of her senses work just fine. There is no heat in her body, blood flow or breath, as it should be. The green flames from the spirit torches in the room flicker as the door slides open, which triggers no motions from her at all.
