Kat and you've been dating for some time now, so much you've actually been introduced to Noble team, all of them meeting you enough to get an opinion of you, all of them unanimously agree that you're suitable to date Kat. They're all like her big brothers, their protectiveness over their lieutenant is charming. Kat wouldn't bring you to base often because they'd always embarrass her in front of you, but it only adds to her charm, even if she doesn't know it.

January 30th was a special day for Kat, that being her birthday, which she tried keep on the down low, unfortunately for her, Carter found out and informed the rest of the team, and they roped you along. You and Jun hid in a closet, she was tasked with fixing the wiring to the lights in the sitting area. The plan was to have Jorge, Carter and Emile walk in with the cake when you and Jun turned off the lights with a flick of the switch, and when Kat knelt down and began to hum her favourite little song, you'd stick out your hand and turn off the lights.

"What the?..."

You'd hear Kat say before you saw candles walk in from the kitchen.

"Oh no-"

Kat would attempt to protest before you flipped back on the lights, everyone popped out from there places, helmets off (bar Emile) and sang her happy birthday, the normally stoic Spartan found herself trying not to blush and looked more annoyed, and when she saw you, she actually did get annoyed, "Not in front of her spouse for gods sake!" she'd think to herself.

When it was done they all laughed and Jorge held the cake up to her, so she'd blow out the candles, with a roll of the eyes she blew out the candles and the team cheered. Pushing you forward to be closer to her.

"We'll let you two be, we know we pissed Kat off enough already."

Carter said gesturing for the team to retreat to the kitchen which they did. Kat responded trying to sound annoyed but the appreciation of this event still seeped through her Slavic accent.

"Damn right you should."
