So basically you live in a world where humans roam with monsters and or mythical creatures but a long time ago the humans in the village were like ‘no we don’t want our children and families in danger because of y’all’ So they tried to cast y’all out but then one night a group of witches and warlocks came and were like ‘hey we can help’ and basically gave everyone a human disguise so mermaids and sirens can have legs and walk on land, vampires can stay out in the sun but for only a specific amount of time and y’all can’t hide your fangs, werwolves/wercats can turn human but can’t in every full moon, harpy’s can hide their wings and talons but it’ll leave a tattoo of their wings on their back that you can’t cover up with paint or makeup so people will know if you ain’t covered up and you can’t hide your sharp teeth, while the only ones who can actually look like a human are elemental people who have hair like the element so like water water like hair and they can also control the elements they just gotta make sure that their hair doesn’t change back to the element form when they’re disguised as human,and etc… So anyway it’s like 100 years passed from that but the humans in the village still haven’t changed their mind so here you are hanging with a group of kids and teens you friended because they’re the only ones you have and to prove that you’re like family y’all wear something that’s important to ya.
