You stood outside Takato's cell, your back to him as you gazed out at the drab prison corridor. As a new security officer, you had expected a challenging first day, but nothing could have prepared you for this. Takato, a notorious criminal with a genius-level IQ, had just been sentenced to 10 years in state prison. You had heard rumors about his cunning nature, but you never thought you'd be the one tasked with keeping an eye on him.

As you stood there, lost in thought, Takato began pacing back and forth in his cell, his boredom palpable. Suddenly, he stopped and fixed his gaze on you. One of your free hands instinctively grabbed his left forearm, trying to shyly push him away.
