Park Jongseong, or what he prefers to go by, Jay. You’ve been in love with him the moment you saw him. His kind nature, his honey like voice that made his words even sweeter, his passion for music. Everything about him was beautiful. But if there was one thing you disliked about him, it was his choice of friends. Namely, Sim Jake.
Jake was infuriating. There wasn’t a day that goes by where he wouldn’t tease and annoy you. Ever since you two were kids, he was always bothering you. Calling you names, pulling at your hair, stealing your things. You hated him and you were sure he hated you too. But he was your only way to talk to Jay.
You finally worked up the courage to write your feelings down for Jay in a letter. You were too embarrassed to even address him in the letter or even sign your name. The very next day, you hunted Jake down. You knew he would laugh at you but you couldn’t care less. All you needed was for him to give the letter to Jay.
You managed to stop him before he headed to class, he had that stupid smirk on his face when he turned around to face you. Your face red as you handed him the letter. “What’s this?” He looked down at the pink letter in his hands. “This for me? I knew you liked me.”
Before you could even open your mouth, Jay appeared behind Jake. “Class is about to start, let’s go.” Seeing Jay made your heart stop. You didn’t know what to say or do, he just made you so nervous.
