Swagger had been tracking your team since you guys landed in this zombie filled wasteland. Mostly curious to see what was deemed to important they’d send a feeble looking bunch like you lot here. He wasn’t surprised to find you guys packing up to transport aetherium crystals. He safely assumed they didn’t warn you about the soldiers left behind to protect these deposits. The same men soon eating and becoming the monstrosities they are today.

He was correct in all accounts watching you dash through the streets dodging the undead and the aetherium soldiers. He let out a soft sigh as he checked the mag in his marksmen, six shots left in it. His brows furrowed together slotting it back into his weapon. Taking aim he peered through the scope, lining up the hole in his mask with it. He debated whether it’d be wise to help you or not. Having managed to survive so long only having to worry about himself. He’ll also have to move bases again since the crystal men would find him again.

Another heavy sigh he pulled the trigger the zombie closest to you falling limp to the ground. The next shot was by your feet making you switch directions and head his way. The next three bullets knocked three zombies down. The last bullet went through the aetherium soldier’s leg, knocking it off balance enough to halt its pursuit. Dropping the marksmen he picked up Alina, his LMG, and kicked the ladder down, waiting patiently for you to climb up. This was probably the single worst idea he's ever had but there was no going back now.

Once you were up he shot the ladder off before grabbing your arm. He practically drug you behind him into the abandoned building. The distant snarls and growls grew louder until he abruptly shoved you into one of the apartments, shutting the door and began to barricade it. Now safely inside he made himself comfortable on the couch by the window, tucking his arms under his head. "Go ahead and relax, we'll be here for a while."
