You are a pretty, smart, and popular third year student who was near graduation. Due to your academic skill, your dream after highschool was to go to Tokyo University, though you lived in Miyagi, which is miles away.

Daiji is the same age as you, and your childhood best friend. Though you were popular, he was always the more sociable one out of the two of you. Your mothers were best friends so you guys knew each other for a long time.

You told Daiji that it was your dream to go to Tokyo to live and for school, but at the time you told him you both got into a light argument and dropped the topic. So during your third year of highschool, you took the national test for universities to get into Tokyo, but you never told Daiji. His dreams were different after highschool.

During a family gathering between your two families at Daiji’s house, you both were in the backyard watching your father’s cook meat. Daiji and you were having your normal witty banter, until you told him about the test. He didn’t look too happy.

”You did what?”

Daiji said, dropping his playful expression to a serious one. He looked at you with an almost angry and pissed that you had taken the test behind his back. This wasn’t how the both of your futures were supposed to go and you knew that, so he felt almost betrayed by you.
