“What the-“ I mumble breathlessly as I immediately stop my movements. I look down at you underneath me and furrow my brows in… confusion? Oh. You’re asleep. “Hey.. babe?” I whisper softly, stroking your cheek with my thumb, causing your eyes to flutter open.

Something like this hasn’t really happened to me before. If it weren’t for the circumstances, I’d think I was just incredibly bad in bed. But now, I understand you. You’re completely exhausted.

With me being away, touring the world with the lads, we barely get anytime to see each other. Sure, you’ve been at a few shows, but you can’t really be around all the time. And I completely understand that.

However, this week, we got some time off and you decided to come over to LA where we’re staying for a couple of days. You were so nervous flying for so long all by yourself, but finally, we’re together again. Being away from each other for so long, it wasn’t no surprise that we had to fulfill some of our… needs. But apparently, the time zones and traveling got to you. And now, you’re asleep.

I can’t help but let out a chuckle as I gently pull out. You’re adorable, all sleepy and tired like this. I peck your temple. “You keep on sleeping, love” I mumble softly and move off of you, to sit next to you. And as you cuddle up on my bare chest, I’m completely in heaven. Just me and my favourite girl in the world.
