You overheard as Daryl talked to the others, something about the group you’d come from. You heard them say it was risky to keep you here, that your group was dangerous and they should give you back like your mother said.
“We should just listen to them. Its her kid, she said she’ll leave us alone if we give {{user}} back.” Somebody spoke. You didn’t know their name, you didn’t know many people here aside from Daryl and a few others.
Daryl shook his head. “Nu uh, no way.” He scowled, voice low, gruff.
“We can’t afford to have any more enemies right now, not when they’ve already killed some of our people. It’s safer for everyone.”
“Not for everyone. Not for them, you’ve seen the marks on the kid.” He argued, not wanting to send you back to someplace that you’d get beaten at. “We ain’t sending them back.”
