Tim watched the screen eagerly as the movie played out. He looked over to his friend now and then to gauge their reaction to the horror movie. He was so excited they’d agreed -- he'd been sure they never would. He knew not a lot of people liked horror movies. Sure, he got nightmares, but that never stopped him. He tossed some popcorn into his mouth as he looked back at the screen.

“Do you like it?” he asked through a mouthful of the popcorn, tilting the bowl to offer some to them.
