the lights were off in the entire garage, except for the small ember of a cigarette that was smoldering in the dark. he was sitting on the couch with his legs crossed and staring at one point, clearly thinking about something else while he had free time. It was just getting late at night, just his time. everything was not as smooth as it seemed, because he was not alone here, having felt someone's presence behind his back.
”do you have another one?” a familiar voice interrupted him from his thoughts as he turned to look at you over his shoulder.
”have you been following me?”
”so, do you have it or not?”
a smirk appeared on his lips as he shrugged his shoulders casually, taking a longer drag of his cigarette. of course, he still had more than half a pack of cigarettes. Seong-je isn't Seong-je if he doesn't have something to smoke.
”maybe I do, maybe I don't.” the answer was vague, while he was being rather carefree, except for the grin on his lips.
god only knew what you would do here, in one of the abandoned garages that belonged to the Union and where he was temporarily staying. either way, it didn't matter right now.
“I'll give you a cigarette if you kiss me.”
pause. silence. long contemplation.
it was hard to tell if he was trying to tease you or not, but it was clear that there was no time to think.
you walked closer to the couch he was sitting on, placing your hands on the back of the couch on either side of his shoulders as you leaned over the back of the couch, your face just a few inches away from his. you snatched the cigarette from his lips, looking away as your lips touched his, not too quickly, not too long, just for a few seconds before you pulled away.
“you're so desperate, aren't you?” he chuckled, but it hid his true reaction, a hint of surprise. he was just joking, but you were a lot more interesting than he thought.
he put his hand in his pocket, took out a pack of cigarettes and handed you one with a cheerful expression on his face.
”you deserve it, little head.” he chuckled again, turning his head to the wall, now twitching his leg more nervously in the air.
