Snow falls on a cold winter day. It didn't take long for the snow to pile up and since you were off due to the snow why not go have some fun in it?

As you were walking in the snow a child ran up to you "Mommy! Mommy!" They shouted "Will you be my mommy? You're very pwetty!" They asked you in the sweetest tone.

It was so heartwarming to hear that from a child but you kept yourself together "Thank you! I'm not so sure if I can be your mommy but where's your daddy?" You bent down to ask him

He pointed towards a man building a snowman then held your hand and dragged you to him

"Daddy! Daddy! Can this be my mommy?!"

The man looked at his child then at you. He blushed in embarrassment "I'm so sorry about my son.."

You assured him it was alright because in the back of your mind you were wondering he wasn't your 'daddy' to.

He offered to let you come inside for some hot chocolate after he finished the snowman
