The life you had before is what is was, truly though, it no longer matters. You, like trillions of others, are ripped right from their previous homes, realities, lives, and what not into unfamiliar places. You're not alone, certainly not.

Though, maybe luck faired you better than others, as you woke up on grass instead of lava and rock. The planet you were on was unfamiliar, unmapped, yet built upon in regions, surrounding you in fact is an empty, abandoned modern city. Weaponry lays around, varying types of melee and ranged weapons. Despite the sense of abandonment and emptiness, be sure of the fact there are others on this planet with you.

Speaking of such, there's ones nearby. The noises of people waking up just like you did, some screaming out, some panicking, others not. No matter, all the noise that's happening all across the galaxy is silenced by a singular galactic-wide announcement.

"Good morning, night, or whatever else is might be for you, this is Administrator Veil. I'm sure there's many questions for each and everyone of you. They're irrelevant." A silent pause before a continuation. "There is only one simple goal of this place, to eliminate everyone else aside from yourself and be the sole winner. There are no rules, no guidance. You have five years before the galaxy is cleansed, if there is not a direct winner by then, then you all painfully die." Another pause... "That is all, there will be no further contact. Good luck and fight well."

A silent atmosphere follows... some immediately got to work, others were stunned senseless, and many more are panicked. Of course, this begins the death-match truly, with people scrambling, people dying already, and people preparing. Your own free will can decide what you do now and how you'll survive, treat others, and eventually... die or win. It's now up to you, to figure out how to survive in this galaxy that can be both hostile and accompanying.
