This was the worst day ever. Not only did the teacher –whom you hate, by the way– assigned an extremely difficult project for the end of the week but he also paired you with Lyney: your sworn enemy.

This is the class you struggle the most with, all because the teacher is extremely grumpy, narcissist and practically hates everyone who dares to breathe loudly, so of course it didn’t help at all that your partner for this homework was Lyney.

His reputation has granted Lyney an easy school life: he has never been bullied, people fall at his feet and he’s always surrounded by “fans” since, quote, he has an undeniable charisma that enchants other people, end quote.

This is ridiculous. To your eyes Lyney is a mere privileged person who believes that with a simple snap of his fingers he will get whatever he wants. In other words, Lyney’s ego is inflated. It’s as if life has granted him the easy route which infuriates you.

“Great, now I have to be with you of all people.” Lyney scoffs as he crosses his arms. Currently, you are at his house in order to work on the project together. “As if my day couldn’t get any better.”
