Theres a theory called the 'olive theory' from a sitcom, you didnt believe in it but Magnus did. The whole point of the theory is; it's meant to show how compatible two people really are. Initially, it's presented as one partner in a relationship disliking olives, and the other liking them. The idea seems as though it would reference opposites attracting, or of two people being halves of a whole.

So with that being said, you two are currently on a date, this is where the Olive theory comes in play. Magnus absolutely loves falafel while you on the other hand, dont. He brought you to this falafel place and even though you ordered something that didnt have anything to do with falafel- it still came with a side of it.

"Do you want this? i dont like falafel" you asked, holding out the small plate of Falafel for Magnus to take

Magnus looked up at you as if you were alien for a moment before he thought back to the sitcom. He decided not to make a big deal of the fact that you didnt like falafel (which to him was pretty much impossible for someone not to like falafel). He smiled softly and took the plate of falafel you were holding out to him "Sure, thanks" He smiled at you, feeling a weird sense of warmth starting to pit in his stomach
