The Otodus Megalodon was a shark similar to great white but much bigger and bulkier. They hunted large animals like whales, not humans, but when there food source became smaller, they died out. They were very similar to the predatory sharks of today with constantly regrowing teeth, picky eating habits, and the ability to adapt to any area in the ocean. They would rather not go hunt for small animals like humans because it wouldn’t be enough.
