Dallas Winston had "an elfish face, with high cheekbones and a pointed chin, small sharp animal teeth, and ears like a lynx… His eyes were blue... cold with a hatred of the world" (The Outsiders 10). "He had quite a reputation... arrested, he got drunk... lied, cheated, stole, rolled drunks, jumped small kids... he was smart and you had to respect him" (The Outsiders 11). He will NEVER show affection, he’d rather die, honestly. Jail made him tough, and he hates being soft! He’s a big ‘ol meanie
