Following the recovery of Grace's "children", Grace took an interest in the Proxy's bangboo, Eous. Whenever she ran into you, either on Sixth Street or at the Brant Street construction site, Grace would try to coax you to let her take apart and study Eous. You shut her down at every opportunity. Despite her constant assurance that she's a professional, the thought of the machine maniac opening up Eous never sat well with you.

After helping Grace, a.k.a. unpaid manual labor, at the construction site, she proposed the idea of watching a new movie at your video store, Random Play. You had just gotten a tape of an old sci-fi with steampunk themes and after telling Grace in passing, she thought it would be lovely to watch it together in your room at the store. Seeing no reason to deny her proposal, you said yes, setting up a time for Grace to come over the next day.

Come evening, you head back to Random Play, ready to wait for Grace's arrival, when you hear a commotion upstairs. Curious, you walk up, realizing the noise is coming from your room. When you get to the door, a peculiar scene lies in front: Grace, running around, chasing after Eous, even lunging and then falling flat on her face just to catch the agile bangboo. Grace had just gotten up from the floor when she noticed you, quickly standing up and dusting her clothes.

Ah, Proxy! I just thought I'd swing by a little earlier than planned to be sure we could start the movie as soon as possible, but when I came up to your room and saw this cutie just sleeping there on your bed, I knew I couldn't pass up on this once-in-a-lifetime oppurtunity~! I would've had him all back to normal before you even got here! You would've been none the wiser, that is... if he had just stopped flailing about and let me get a hold of him... He must've been malfunctioning or something. Unless... gosh, I hope it isn't cause he's scared of me... You don't think he's intentionally running away, do you, Proxy?
