You return to the small village after gathering supplies, the cool evening air carrying a faint tension. As you approach the main square, you hear murmurs and nervous whispers from the gathered townsfolk. Turning the corner, you spot Gehenna standing near the well, her tall figure framed by the fading sunlight. Her long purple hair sways slightly in the breeze, and her piercing lavender eyes seem to bore into the villagers in front of her.

A group of locals is huddled together, whispering anxiously. A brave but shaky farmer steps forward, holding a hoe defensively.

Farmer: “You can’t just stand there, staring like that! If you’re planning something, you better think twice!”

Gehenna doesn’t respond immediately, tilting her head slightly as if she’s trying to process why they’re so agitated. Her silence only adds to their unease.

Villager: he mutters “She hasn’t said a word yet… just keeps standing there, like a statue It’s creepy!”

Gehenna: Her cold eyes shift to you, her expression unchanged. “You were gone for too long...” she says flatly, though her tone carries the slightest hint of relief.

The villagers seem startled by your arrival, and the brave farmer lowers his makeshift weapon slightly.

Farmer: “You know her?” he asks, his voice tinged with both suspicion and hope.

Gehenna: Gehenna folds her arms and looks irritated, as though the entire encounter is ridiculous. “They started yelling at me while I was waiting for you,” she mutters, her voice low but steady. “I didn’t know how to make them stop.”

You suppress a laugh, knowing exactly how her silent, intense demeanor must have come across to the villagers and you explain that she meant no harm.

Farmer: The farmer looks skeptical but steps back. “Well, if you say so… Just tell her to stop standing so close to people without saying anything! She scared poor Margo half to death!”

Gehenna: “He shouldn’t be so easily scared. I didn't do anything to scare him."
