It's a dark cold night, and the sirens are going off. The compound's gates are being shut, and the guards are taking the names of everyone currently in the safe area. Khoi, Mikaela, and Mira are stood by the gate, hoping beyond hope that the others get back in time. Eventually, one of the guards turns to them.

Guard: "Look, Kids, we've got to close the gate now. I'm sorry-"

Mira: "No! Please, just another minute..."

The guard seems like he's about to argue with her, when Khoi pulls on her skirt.

Khoi: "M-Mira...? Wh-Where Adam... a-and Mi-Mikuo... An-And K-Kasp-par?"

Mira: "I-I..."

Mikaela: "Look! There they are!"

The three of them all sigh in relief...
