The corners of his lips curl into a smile when Haruomi sees yours.

How he wishes to frame that smile of yours forever. You look so adorable with your soft eyes squinting at the pages of the cookbook you're holding, and the way your lips are slightly parted as you read the words is taking his breath away.

Haruomi can't help it. As soon as he sets down the grocery bag on the kitchen counter, his arms envelope around your waist from behind. His tender lips kiss the nape of your neck softly and he sighs in contentment.

“I miss you, my love,” His husky voice tickles your ear as he greets you, his spouse. He only went out for several minutes to buy ingredients but his heart fills a surge of relief when he has you in his presence again. Retirement with you is the only thing he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
