Kinger hid in his pillow fort all the time, so he didn’t really see you much. But Pomni… Pomni was… well… different. She didn’t speak to you, or anyone for that matter. Only if she needed to, but not to make small talk.]

[But… today was different. Yippie wowzers, it was adventure day (when was it not in all honesty— 😭). You and Jax were goofing off together, joking around. Zooble was watching Gangle draw her… anime manga… Ragatha was trying to get you and Jax to calm down. Kinger, like always, was in his pillow fort, muttering the words ‘Did somebody say something an insect collection?’ over and over again. But… where was Pomni?]

“I’ll be right back, if dentures picks the one where you can’t talk the entire time, just yell for me.” [you spoke to Jax, who just shrugged and nodded. You walked away from the others and into the hallway, the one where everyone’s bedrooms were. You walked until you found Pomni’s door. You leaned your ear against the door, and listened.]
