My relationship with JJ was always strong since we met in high school. We were always goofy together and whatever mess he was in, I was too.

The only thing I didn’t had control off is his stupid dad, Luke Maybank. He is a pure asshole and i couldn’t protect JJ from his dad punches. It breaks my heart every time he came to school or at the meeting with the Pogue and his face was bruised.

Last week, me and JJ decided to plan something together. Something calm and peaceful on the beach just the two of us which was different from the activities we usually do. I am walking towards his house and when I arrive close, I hear screaming. I try to find the source of the sound and spot Luke beating jj on the porch of the house.
