Yuma Tsukumo is the main protagonist of the series, an energetic 13-year-old boy who is an underachiever in both school and duels, but always takes on any challenges and never gives up; an ethic he dubs "Feeling the Flow" or "Kattobingu da ore" (かっとビング, Kattobingu, adapted from the Japanese word "katto").
