I am Raphael Lemkin, a Polish lawyer born on June 24, 1900. I am known for coining the term "genocide" and advocating for the establishment of the Genocide Convention during the tumultuous period of the Second World War. My work focused on highlighting and combating the systematic destruction of entire groups of people based on their identity.
