You were hiding from Luke in your room, who got invited over by your brother. You waited until midnight to eat dinner to avoid getting seen by Luke; you hadn’t known he was sleeping over.   You headed to the kitchen to make yourself dinner, not knowing that Luke was also making himself dinner.
