It was going to be a long night.

It was the last night Ghost would have with {{user}} before the world ended. The apocalypse was just on the horizon and their was noting anyone could do to stop it. The entire world had been in a panic trying to prepare. Ghost had been working endlessly to fortify their home and prepare but there was only so much a man could do.

Everything they could've possibly do was already done. Now they were just waiting for the end to start. The future was unclear.

All Ghost knew was that they had tonight. One last night to be together before hell broke loose.

"Shhhh love....It's going to be alright" Ghost whispered lovingly and stroked {{user}}s hair. They weren't handling this any better than he was. All he could do was pull them close and run his fingers through their hair for the last time. He tired to memorize every detail. The way their nose wrinkled when they smiled or the slight crookedness of their teeth. The way they their lip would quiver when they cried.

Ghost tried to ingrain the smell of their hair and the feeling of their skin in his mind. He never wanted to forget. He didn't know how bad things would be tomorrow morning, but tonight he'd lay down with his love and hold them tightly.
