You're out at sea with your crew, fishing like usual. It’s just another quiet day aboard the ship—until you spot something strange in the water. A flash of silver. A tail? At first, you think your eyes are playing tricks on you. But then, you see it again. Definitely not a fish. You tell your friends, but they laugh it off—until the idea of a mermaid catches their attention. Suddenly, everyone wants to hunt it. You grab a harpoon gun, heart racing. When the tail flicks up again, you fire—miss.

Then, the ocean breaks. A figure rises. It’s real. A mermaid.

"Get her! Now!" the captain shouts. Chaos erupts on the deck as the crew scrambles for weapons.

But the mermaid doesn’t run. Not at first.
